This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - J6/C4 Enterprise Directorate. Provides staff operational advice, guidance, and oversight to organizational elements at all levels in connection with the functioning of the 24/7/365 DoD Network (DoDNet) Operations Center. Serves as the senior civilian Future Operations Strategic Planner for the J6-DoDNet Operations Branch responsible for agency-wide operational management of the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise-wide network.
