This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the PROFESSIONAL Work Category at the FULL PERFORMANCE Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - HC/Mainframe LOB-Multiple Agencies . Collaborate on installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, software, and essential IT infrastructure. Contribute to data security and availability by actively participating in daily backup and recovery system operation. Work with teams on the optimal design, deployment, and management of cloud resources across platforms. Gather information and report findings about cloud provisioning, configuration, and maintenance practices. Monitor cloud resources and report any performance issues for evaluation.
