You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the ASSESS AND AUTHORIZE SUSTAINMENT DIVISION, NAVY AUTHORIZING OFFICIAL DIRECTORATE of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. You will serve as the Division Head and second-level supervisor responsible for managing and guiding daily activities associated with the US Fleet Cyber Command (FCC) Commander’s authority as the Authorizing Official (AO). You will apply expert knowledge of FCC and other Navy Echelon II command core business and mission processes, in combination with in-depth knowledge of the FCC Commander’s tolerance for accepting risk. You will be responsible for integrating cybersecurity with operational planning, identifying critical terrain in cyberspace, and setting priorities in a dynamic and challenging landscape.
