You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, JOINT MISSION OPERATIONS CENTER of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. You will serve as a senior technical authority and Information Technology Specialist responsible for the strategic management and enterprise-level orchestration of virtualized combat power environments. You will be responsible for the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, platform, or enclave. You will serve as the primary technical authority and subject matter expert (SME) for lifecycle management, defensive architecture, and configuration of high-value control systems and enterprise-level infrastructure. You will be responsible for devices, equipment, and system-level cybersecurity configuration and day-to-day security operations of control systems. You will continuously validate the organization against policies, guidelines, procedures, regulations and laws to ensure compliance.
