You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY MANAGER) in the IA/CYBERSECURITY DIVISION, INFO TECHNOLOGY & CYBERSECURITY OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. You will serve as the Command Information System Security Manager and senior IT Cybersecurity technical advisor. You will provide expert technical advice and recommendations on cybersecurity posture, risk, compliance, incident preparedness, and the secure operation of command information systems. You will communicate complex cybersecurity risks, technical requirements, and recommend courses of action to internal and external stakeholders. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing, interpreting, and implementing command cybersecurity procedures, implementation of strategies, and operating practices consistent with higher-level policies, security requirements, and mission needs.
