About the Position: This is an Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist (Applications Software) position in the Directorate of Engineering & Cyber. This position will be filled using the Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD). Serve as lead applications software developer for broad and complex Army Cyber Operations in support of the Army/Joint initiatives. Draft project plans, identify resource requirements, assign tasks to project members, report progress, and ensure customer and management involvement throughout the software development process. Resolve critical issues affecting the configuration of the IT infrastructure and coordinate the demonstration of new and enhanced applications to customers and management. Perform needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved IT solutions. Serve as a consultant, providing personnel and project teams with software engineering and project management support to meet established DOD, Army and organizational standards.
