Job description
This National Guard position is for a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), Position Description Number D2524P01 and is part of the OH G6, Ohio Army National Guard. This position is located at the JFHQ-State in the Chief Information Officer directorate. The primary purpose of this position is to provide auditing to ensure secure operations of the network enclave and provide incident response actions as directed by the cybersecurity service provider. As a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), GS-2210-11, you will perform the following duties: 1. Conducts audits of information systems compliance, to include network devices; servers; and end user devices, related to security standards, guides and application updates to enable and ensure accreditation of all systems IAW with all command, Army, and DOD security directives, policies and procedures. Ensures that all elements are in compliance with guidance concerning accreditation of automated information systems, risk management, control of computer viruses, and other similar issues. 2.
