Job description
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Industry Engagement Manager and principal modal advisor to TSA senior leadership by building strategic partnerships with executive-level stakeholders in the pipeline and energy sectors, as well as federal, state, and local partners. The role applies technical knowledge of pipeline physical and cyber security requirements to identify risks and vulnerabilities, resolve complex cross-organizational issues and support crisis management. This TRANSPORTATION SECURITY SPECIALIST position is located in the Strategy, Policy and Engagement Office/Surface Policy & Cyber Integration Division/Industry Engagement Branch, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Build strategic partnerships and use professional experience in pipeline industry or energy sector security programs, policies, programs, regulations and directives to resolve industry issues while maintaining the integrity of the pipeline security system.
