This vacancy is for a GS-0856-9, ELECTRONICS TECH (CYBER) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, BASE PORTSMOUTH C5I MAINT OVERSIGHT DIVISION -EM in PORTSMOUTH, Virginia. You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECH (CYBER) and be responsible for providing end-to-end customer support by troubleshooting, installing, configuring, auditing, and maintaining hardware, software, incident records, and service performance in accordance with organizational standards. The role requires independent judgment and specialized electronics, cybersecurity, risk management, service desk, and IT service-management knowledge to support shipboard systems, train crews, coordinate with stakeholders, and improve system reliability and operational safety. .Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
