The primary purpose of this position is to perform technical work in support of Cybersecurity, the purpose of which is to provide Information Technology (IT)security services to protect the integrity, accuracy and availability of a wide range of IT systems and networks. DUTY l: Performs base-level Information Assurance Management (IAM), senior IT specialist, IA Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and security risk management duties. As the base IAM and Risk Management Framework Authorizing Official and network enclave Information Assurance Manager for the largest USAF educational-domain network, assumes primary responsibility for the IA posture and risk management of assigned circuit-enclaves and computer networks. DUTY2: Assesses DoD and AF policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing IA and C&A activities.
