Job description
The position is located on the Security Services Division (SSD), Security Administration Branch, Communications Security (COMSEC) Team. Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as a liaison between PFPA and the National Security Agency (NSA) to account for and control COMSEC material via the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI). Provides guidance on hiding messages and message characteristics flowing on a network (Traffic-Flow Security). Maintains written procedures to ensure strict control of COMSEC material to include standard operating procedures, HRHs instructional guidance, COMSEC briefings/training, emergency action plans, and equipment procedures to strengthen current operations awareness. Serve as a Communication Security (COMSEC) Manager, overseeing the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of PKI and encryption systems. Apply networking concepts and security methodologies to support secure system integration implementation planning, and lifecycle management of classified materials and encrypted assets.
