Job description
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does not convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC). Serves as a subject matter expert on cyberspace training programs and strategies, providing valued input to strategy,policy,technology integration and representing the organization at joint conferences and working groups. Manages a comprehensive cyber workforce development and certification standards program, to include testing, skills certification, plans, policy, platforms and individual development plans. Leads doctrinally-sound analyses of cyber training objectives/requirements, and develops, implements program initiatives and standards to address the needs of the cyber workforce.
