You will serve as a LEAD IT SPECIALIST (CYBERSECURITY/NETWORK) in the NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND (NAVAIR) of FLEET READINESS CENTER WESTERN PACIFIC. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as the alternate Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), responsible for the execution of the command's cybersecurity program. You will lead, mentor, or guiding other IT Specialists; distributing and balancing workloads; and reviewing work to ensure technical soundness, appropriateness, and conformity to policies. You will provide technical expertise and security guidance in the areas of IT Security Defense-In-Depth strategies. You will develop plans and procedures for integrating data communications systems and network equipment. You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to analyze risks and determines appropriate countermeasures to manage them effectively.
