Job description

This position is part of the Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office, Department of Energy. National Nuclear Security Administration Demonstration Project: This position is covered by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Demonstration Project. The NQ-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade levels. As a Information Technology Specialist (Cyber), NQ-2210-3, you will: Establish, manage, and assess the effectiveness of the Prime Contractor and Naval Reactors cyber security and IT program, ensuring compliance with national policies, Department of Energy orders, directives, and applicable instructions. Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and long-range strategic plans that align with mission objectives and enhance the security posture of Information Technology systems. Plan, lead, and execute cybersecurity audits, assessments, and reviews at prime contractor facilities to evaluate compliance with program requirements, directing corrective actions to address identified deficiencies.
