This announcement is issued under the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) to recruit for positions for which there is a critical hiring need. The official title of this position is Information Cybersecurity Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210-15. Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: Staying current with the state of industry as it relates to cyber tools, operational visibility needs to detect adversarial behavior, and "big data" technologies (e.g., analytics, agentic AI, etc.). Developing data integration reference architectures for national security programs and systems. Designing data analytics within big-data platforms that address nation-critical cyber security problems. Briefing senior government officials on the design and progress of large scale data engineering projects to communicate status and objectives.
