CISA's Integrated Operations Division (IOD) is the hub for staying on top of threats and emerging risks to our nation's critical infrastructure. IOD coordinates situational awareness and response to national cyber, communications, and physical incidents. The Protective Security Advisor combines all aspects of security. The official title of this position is Supervisory Security Specialist, GS-0080-15. Typical work assignments at the GS-15 level include, but are not limited to: Leading and supervising Protective Security Advisors (PSAs) and serving as an expert advisor to Regional and CISA leadership and governmental and private sector officials on matters related to the security and resiliency of our nation's infrastructure. Functioning as the strategic, operational and tactical authority on critical infrastructure protection. Representing CISA as a subject matter expert on critical infrastructure protection at conferences, workshops, panels, and studies.
