For more information visit: Office of Electric Reliability (OER) | Federal Energy Regulatory Commission As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist some of your typical work assignments include: Performing unusual or highly complex analyses of reliability filings and standards-enforcement activities related to cybersecurity issues affecting the nation's energy infrastructure and systems Conducting broad, comprehensive studies related to regulatory policies that have industry-wide impact, serving as a basis for senior management's consideration of changes in developing new cybersecurity guidelines, standards, and bodies of knowledge that shape Commission actions on emerging regulatory initiatives affecting the cybersecurity of energy infrastructure systems.
