About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Mission Support Command, Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3, Geospatial Intelligence Office located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Direct operational risk management activities across multiple security enclaves. Execute practical Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) duties. Apply complex cybersecurity controls (e.g., STIGs, CYBERCOM directives) to high-performance computing assets like GPUs. Configure virtualized platforms to support mission-critical GEOINT analysis. Translate raw technical system configurations into comprehensive accreditation packages. Optimize security configurations to maintain performance for resource-heavy workflows (e.g., Full Motion Video analysis). Assess system-level vulnerabilities using automated enterprise tools.
