The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is the Nation's risk advisor, working with partners to defend against today's threats and collaborating with industry to build a more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future. The official title of this position is Security Specialist, GS-0080-13. This position is located in the Infrastructure Security Division which focuses on protecting critical infrastructure from all hazards by managing risk and enhancing resilience through collaboration with the critical infrastructure community, which includes private sector owners, operators, and employees; State, local, tribal, and territorial officials; and other Federal agencies. Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: Leading unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)/ counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) subject matter expert (SME) efforts to advance CISA's BeAirAwareTM program by setting content priorities, producing integrated threat and legal/regulatory analysis, and advising leadership on program decisions.
