This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure in DISA PACIFIC FIELD OFFICE, Regional Network Operations and Security Center (RNOSC), Camp Humphreys, South Korea. Serve as forward RNOSC representative to provide local visibility of network performance, perform on-site troubleshooting to accelerate service restoration, and synchronize incident response efforts between the RNOSC, DISA, and mission partners. Act as the forward technical expert for Mission Partner Environment (MPE) and coalition Command and Control (C2) systems to ensure the interoperability and availability of joint and coalition communication capabilities.
