This position is in the Department of the Chief Information Officer, Information Technology Security Office, Security Operations Division. The Security Operation Division protects the judiciary from cyber threats, strengthens the judiciary's security posture and threat awareness, eliminates threats before they can harm operations, and provides evaluation services to strengthen systems and programs. The Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Security) is a recognized IT security expert with a strong offensive and defensive cybersecurity background, program management experience, and coordination expertise. The Supervisory Information technology Specialist (Security) serves as the Threat Emulation and Readiness Branch Chief, a senior-level cybersecurity leader and performs multiple and varying assignments under the direction of the Chief, Security Operations Divisions. The incumbent serves as the primary adversary emulation coordinator and coordinates and manages these activities across the federal judiciary. Leading, directing, and overseeing the Threat Emulation and Readiness Branch, which delivers time-bound services in support of judiciary risk management objectives.
