Job description
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA HC/HC23. Supervises civilian personnel, ranging in grade up to GS-15 and military personnel up to 0-6. Also directs a number of professional and technical contractor personnel. Assigns work based on project priorities, work difficulty, and employee ability. Plans, organizes, develops and implement security solutions and performs studies, analyses and evaluations of the information systems, associated information assurance plans, programs, projects, networks, policies, and procedures. Monitors acquisition and budget execution to insure fiscally responsible usage of funds. Supports the User Engagement Group for stakeholder outreach activities.
