Job description

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - OC/DISA GLOBAL FIELD COMMAND (DG313). Serves as Supervisory Battle Captain overseeing the execution of Command and Control of Defense Information Systems Network Transport, Defensive Cyber Operations, and other key mission areas supporting warfighters across the globe. Provide leadership, advice, guidance, planning, prioritization, development, management, training, and coordination to watch floor personnel. Monitors Defense Information Systems Network health to create a timely and efficient resolution of network issues, and provides timely, accurate and relevant information/updates to impacted leadership, customers and the DISA Joint Operations Center.
