Job description
This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Information Systems Division, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The incumbent in this position acts as the Service Owner to provide service for information assurance, delivery, support and technical expertise for information assurance operations for information systems services. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Developing methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts. . Reviewing or conducting audits of information technology (IT) programs and projects. . Coordinating and manages the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end. Participating in the acquisition process as necessary. Developing supply chain, system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements. Mandatory training is required which must be successfully completed and other training may occur as necessary for success in the position. A.
