Information Technology Division - Arlington, VA The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist. You will be responsible for planning, directing, executing, and managing work and associated resources involved in the execution of major USMS programs and operations and maintenance of technologies, services and applications in support of the mission. As a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist at the GS-2210-15 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Evaluating the program's projects/solutions to ensure they are operating securely and effectively. Analyzing and monitoring performance of agency program, and recommending changes as appropriate. Managing a full range of cybersecurity and IT-related services, operations and projects. Establishing and maintaining liaison with officials of other Federal agencies and industry personnel. Providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management. Identifying and evaluating new solutions that may be more efficient, more effective, and/or less expensive.
