Job description
The Office of the Department of War Chief Information Officer (DoW CIO) is the Principal Staff Assistant (PSA) and advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of War for information technology (IT), including national security systems (NSS), information resources management (IRM) matters. The Director of Cyber Workforce Academic Engagement Office (CAEO) is a direct report to the DoW CIO and leads, directs, and manages a staff comprised of GS, GG, Military and Contractor personnel, providing expert management and oversight of the activities of the Department of War in its relationship with academia, to include those entities involved in primary, secondary, and post-secondary education, with respect to cyber-related matters.
