About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with the C4I Systems Directorate, J62. Serve as a Computer Network Defense Officer implementing, maintaining, and analyzing automated information systems (AIS) techniques, procedures, and cyber security requirements. Determine overall technical features and cyber protection required for AIS systems and networks processing sensitive and classified information on Department of Defense (DoD) and DoD Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) AIS resources. Perform system administration and application support duties for specialized standalone systems. Manage, secure, and support cyber security systems similar to Host Base Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS), SIEM Log aggregation and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
