About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Information Technology Specialist (Security) for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted. Analyze cyber threat intelligence and indicators of compromise to evaluate potential security risks across enterprise network architectures. Advise technical leadership on hardware and software requirements to align computing systems with regulatory cybersecurity standards. Assess security configurations of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks to identify operational vulnerabilities. Coordinate vulnerability remediation strategies with system engineering teams to eliminate identified technical weaknesses.
