This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. Supervises Information Technology Specialists and provides oversight of Information Assurance (IA) contractors who help to administer the WHCA IA program. Performs supervisory duties such as assigning and reviewing work, approving support forms, developing performance standards, evaluating work performance, and finding ways to improve production and the quality of products or services. Compiles IA resource requirements from subordinate activities and develops documentation for Program Objective Memorandum and other resourcing processes.
