Supervisory Cybersecurity Advisor

This announcement is issued under the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) to recruit for positions for which there is a critical hiring need. Selectee(s) will receive a career or career-conditional appointment in the competitive service and may be required to serve a one year probationary period. The official title of this position is Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210-14. Typical work assignmentsinclude, but are not limited to: Serving as a Supervisory Cybersecurity Advisor within a CISA Region performing operational cybersecurity work to defend cyber infrastructure and architecture assets from known vulnerabilities. Managing computer network defense services and resources and develop a security risk management plan. Conducting cyber protective visits and strategic cyber risk assessments to prepare and protect critical cyber infrastructure assets. Building regional and local cybersecurity coalitions to promote sharing on best practices and lessons learned, and the resilience of cyber infrastructure throughout the region and the U.S. Pacific Territories.
