This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - FE/Endpoint Svcs /Customer Spt Directorate. Manages the data center installation service node’s network equipment and infrastructure for the Classified Support Division. Validates and approves requests for new equipment and cable installations. Provide technical oversight for internal project design and development activities to facilitate integration and interoperability within the J6 enterprise. Investigate trends and patterns in information technologies and computer systems development. Leads integrated teams to assess effectiveness of system implementation, identify deficiencies, and advocate enhancements.
