This position serves as a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist, located in the Office of Information Technology, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U.S. Department of Justice. The Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for overseeing and safeguarding the implementation of cyber security programs designed to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides leadership and technical direction to staff responsible for providing information and security management of cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices. Analyzes DOJ information systems to ensure compliance with current commercial and government cybersecurity standards. Direct a team of vulnerability managers, incident responders, analysts and insider threat specialists to help minimize the risk to the DOJ information systems. Collaborates with the DevSecOps and Project Management teams to enhance security designs, security architecture, implementation, operations, and compliance.
