About the Position: This position is located at the 97th Medical Group, Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Serve as the Chief Information Officer by directing all IT activities to include the planning, analysis, policy, programming, procurement, implementation, operation, and maintenance of all computer and data communication systems. Maintain complex network and database management systems that supports the Medical Treatment Facility’s clinical and administrative missions, resolving complex IT issues and recommending system enhancements as necessary. Develop information technology management policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. Manage IT procurement, resource allocation, and lifecycle planning for hardware, software, and Automated Data Processing Equipment to meet operational and future mission requirements. Provide technical guidance, training, supervision, and workforce development for IT personnel to ensure effective performance, alignment with certification requirements, and support of organizational goals.
