Job description

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA J6/C4 ENTERPRISE DIRECTORATE DKADAP-IT3H2. Provides technical and analytical support for the DISA J6 networked systems to include server, desktop, and storage systems to assist leadership in validating, refining, and documenting operational requirements and constraints. Works with operations technicians and project teams to plan for and provide technical oversight for installation, operational testing, and final checkout prior to turning over to operations.
