Information Technology Division - Kansas City, MO The selectee of this position serves as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Sys Admin). You will be responsible for directing and managing USMS technology projects. This includes the planning, designing, developing, securing, documenting, developing, modifying, testing, implementation, and support of new or existing applications, services, or equipment. As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Sys Admin) at the GS-2210-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Managing a full range of cybersecurity and IT-related services, operations and projects. Implementing secure IT solutions, developing and testing the systems contingency security plans and disaster recovery procedures, assessing IT systems risks and identifying and correcting cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Working with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations. Promoting awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organization's visions and goals.
