This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) - Security Management Branch. The primary purpose of this position is to serves as technical authority and senior IT and computer systems advisor and consultant and cyber security advisor. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position. As a IT SPECIALIST (Senior Security Engineer), GS-2210-14, your typical work assignments may include: Serves as an IT Specialist who will apply security engineering industry best practices, methods, principles and techniques to current and future DHS Intelligence Enterprise (IE) Information Technology (IT) networks, systems and applications with knowledge in Zero Trust, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Security engineering. Serve as an advisor to the Cybersecurity leadership on security and risk-management support and recommendation to support mission and communicate security risk to relevant stakeholders.
