This vacancy is for a GS-2210-11, IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFO SEC) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC BOD INFORMATION SERVICES BR in BALTIMORE, Maryland. You will serve as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFO SEC) and be responsible for the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, or enclave. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Collect and maintain data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting. Ensure that security improvement actions are evaluated, validated, and implemented as required. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the enterprise's cybersecurity safeguards to ensure that they provide the intended level of protection. Participate in an information security risk assessment during the Security Assessment and Authorization process. Participate in the development or modification of the computer environment cybersecurity program plans and requirements.
